Matthew Fontaine Maury had various hairstyles during his career. He reached fame as a world-class astronomer, navy officer, geographer, oceanographer, meteorologist, cartographer, educator and historian. However, the United States Navy officer was specially known for his unique sense of fashion and his adorable character.
